Special sandwich insulation 5.5mm MW-FM5.5

The special high-end waterproof insulation material MW-FM 5.5 from Musway consists of a 5.5 mm thick sandwich composite made of 3 high-quality thick materials and an additional non-woven fabric. The first layer of 1.2 mm thick butyl ensures optimum adhesion and stabilisation of the sheet metal parts. The second layer of 2.8 mm thick special rubber eliminates remaining noise in other frequency ranges. The third layer is again made of 1.5 mm thick butyl, which provides additional damping. The fourth layer is a special fleece fabric that provides additional damping and also serves as a covering layer for door panels, for example. The layer also further reduces direct contact noise. In total, the set consists of 7 panels measuring 500 mm x 700 mm (2.45 m 2 ), which can be easily installed in the interior of the car. Noise reductions of up to -32 dB are possible.
