The MERCURY MR bandpass systems belong to a new generation of loudspeakers in which special emphasis was placed on good bass reproduction with high efficiency and compact dimensions during development. Since aesthetics should not be neglected either, the woofers were given a chrome surface, which creates magnificent light effects, especially in the illuminated interior rooms, which can be switched to blue or white. The robust bandpass loudspeakers are equipped with powerful long-throw woofers optimized for outputs of up to 800 W/RMS. The MR8DUAL dual bandpass system is somewhat unusual . The housing is equipped with the FlexPort function, which allows the reflex channel opening to be left open either at the front or at the rear using a screw-off cover.
