Introducing the all-new Alpine Status audio system! Building on the same engineering and design concepts as the 3rd generation AlpineF#1Status Ultra HD system, Alpine created the Alpine Status series to deliver high-resolution audio at a more affordable and accessible price point. On top of that, all components can be purchased and/or used separately, making the series highly modular.

The HDS-990 player offers 192kHz/24Bit resolution through 3 wired USB DAC inputs and a wireless Bluetooth connection. High-resolution music files stored on a USB stick or smartphone are thus reproduced in the best conditions. This player has been designed to be used with your original car radio and is therefore not equipped with a car radio, a DAB+ tuner, or a Bluetooth or other hands-free function.

It consists of a compact housing with buttons for basic controls, a high-resolution color display showing playback data, a volume knob for quick sound control and a separate black housing for easy installation in the vehicle. Thanks to the 4x 50W high-resolution amplifier output, RCA outputs and TOSLINK and Coax optical ports, the HDP-D90 offers the possibility to create a modular and tailor-made system.
