The BassLink SM2 self-powered subwoofer fits under the front seat of many vehicles and adds exceptional bass to any vehicle audio system. Its low-profile 8-inch woofer and custom low-profile enclosure allow for added bass in vehicles where space is limited. Its fully adjustable crossover and bass EQ give you the tools to tailor the BassLink SM2 to your system and vehicle. To power the proprietary 8-inch woofer, a power-efficient Class-D digital amplifier delivers plenty of power while remaining cool and drawing minimal current from your vehicle's charging system.

Exclusive low profile woofer

The BassLink SM2's 8" (200mm) subwoofer is specially designed to deliver low distortion and excellent bass performance in its custom ABS enclosure with a remarkably compact footprint.

Efficient Class D Amplifier

The amp that powers the BassLink SM2 produces minimal heat and does not draw much current from the car's electrical system.

Intelligent electronic design

The BassLink SM2 uses high-pass filters and limiters that deliver exceptional performance at the limits.

Crossover control

A variable crossover control (50Hz - 120Hz) lets you adjust the amount of upper bass and midrange produced by the BassLink SM2. Adjust the crossover to achieve a smooth transition between the BassLink SM2 and the rest of the speakers in the system.

Flexible EQ settings

The Level control adjusts the volume of the BassLink SM2 to the other speakers in your system, while the Bass Boost control allows you to minimize low-frequency peaks or dips in your car's acoustic environment.

Line and high level inputs

For added installation flexibility, the BassLink SM2 features both line-level and high-level inputs. If you use the high-level inputs to connect the BassLink SM2 to the head unit, an input load switch lets you switch from “Low” to “High” for optimal results.

Wired and remote level control capability

The BassLink SM2 is compatible with the included JBL GTO-RBC, which lets you control bass level remotely.
