The MTX TX628T are high-end 28mm diameter tweeters. These are the tweeters from the MTX TX665S kit, voted best speaker of the year. They handle 90W RMS and 360W per pulse (that's a lot...). They have a 4 ohm impedance to adapt to all amplifiers. Their small outer diameter allows them to be installed almost anywhere. Behind the rearview mirrors, on the dashboard or at the top of the door. To take advantage of this, you should place the tweeters as high as possible to have the highest possible soundstage.
Their sound quality is exceptional. It goes very high, smoothly, with lots of detail and energy. Their large diaphragm diameter (28mm) allows for a powerful sound with a lot of impact. The silk dome is the best solution for perfectly distributing the sound and therefore reducing directivity. On both sides of the car, each tweeter is very clearly audible. To remain small and hold the power, we use ultra-magnetic neodymium magnets. They are therefore easy to install. For filtering, two hi-fi grade polypropylene capacitors are provided. It's simple and efficient.
