The GS Audio Platinum 4000 series has been updated with the new MK2 version, which brings a substantial change to the subwoofer's design. The carbon dust cap, already present in the previous version, has been redesigned by our technicians: it now features a concave shape with an inward depression. This construction choice is not only aesthetic but also brings concrete improvements to performance:

• More efficient voice coil cooling, thanks to better heat dissipation even from the front face.

• Elimination of micro-vibrations typical of flat dust caps, ensuring a more stable and linear cone movement.

• Greater structural rigidity, which results in greater precision and reliability at high power.

The GS Audio Platinum 4000 MK2 handles up to 2000 W RMS (D1/D2 ohms) and is equipped with a powerful 220 mm magnet with "UFO" plates, an 81 mm pure copper voice coil on an aluminum former, and a double-layer red Nomex spider with sewn tinsel leads. A pressed cellulose cone, a 30 mm round foam surround, and a pneumatic rubber surround ensure optimal excursion and sealing, while push-button terminals accept cables up to 16 mm². The new concave carbon MK2 dust cap improves rigidity and heat dissipation, eliminating micro-vibrations from flat versions.

IMPEDANCE: Choice between dual 1 Ohm and dual 2 Ohm

RESONANCE FREQUENCY (Fs): 33–36 Hz, ideal for daily listening (hip-hop, trap, bass). For fast genres (techno, EDM, high BPM), we recommend reducing the box width by about 5 cm to increase the tuning by 2–3 Hz.
