EXTREME POWER MANAGEMENT
A dual 4-inch, 8-layer black anodized flat aluminum wire voice coil gives the CMP S3-12D1 and CMP S3-12D.5 excellent power handling and heat dissipation. They are available in two versions: 1+1 or 0.5+0.5 ohm, for perfect impedance matching to your amplifier of choice. For optimal signal transfer and increased durability, double silver-plated wires are sewn into the housing. The pre-connected 10 mm² oxygen-free copper direct wires provide excellent conductivity for a solid and reliable direct connection between the subwoofer voice coil and your amplifier, without resistance points or poor contact.
WORLD-CLASS ENDURANCE
At this ultimate level, linearity and precision are essential. A voice coil assembly with a massive cone and a premium, US-made voice coil (80mm winding height) must remain perfectly aligned, even during extreme travel. To tame this massive moving mass, we incorporated a 4-ply Nomex assembly with orange mesh, as well as a mega-roll foam surround at the top, of course double-stitched to the cone.
HIGH QUALITY PRECISION
The extremely rigid, mica-reinforced cone delivers uncompromising performance for impeccable control and precision, even at the highest pressures. In addition, a custom-made carbon dust cover protects the innards of this 44 kg monster and eliminates any cone distortion. The result: a subwoofer of extreme rigidity, unmatched control, and exceptional precision.
ELITE PERFORMANCE
This subwoofer was designed from the ground up for extreme conditions. At its heart is a carefully selected, quadruple-stack, 11-inch-wide neo/ferrite hybrid driver weighing over 41 kg. It is powered by four oversized 280 mm (165 oz) magnets, for a total weight of 666 oz. It offers total control over the enormous 80 mm X-max, for unmatched precision and depth. In addition, the state-of-the-art DVS2™ cooling system ensures optimal subwoofer performance, even during the most intense competitions. The CMP S3-12D1 and S3-12D.5 demand attention and space, but will reward you with an unprecedented level of bass.
