Description

The editors were particularly impressed by the incredibly low distortion of the speakers, which they described as "among the purest in recent years."

Even the 16.5 cm (6.5") mid-bass driver is a feast for the eyes. With its very thin spokes, the high-quality aluminum basket ensures optimal ventilation behind the suspension. A precisely machined and nickel-plated T-plate provides additional ventilation to the voice coil through multiple vents, thus virtually eliminating any risk of overheating. This allows the door speaker to reproduce high sound levels without distortion for long periods.

The MG6.2T is undoubtedly one of the best tweeters on the market. Featuring a 26 mm silk dome and a suitable coupling volume, this tweeter offers a frequency response not only below 2,000 Hz, but also remarkably linear up to over 25,000 Hz. Thanks to these exceptional performances, it achieved the maximum, extremely rare, rating of 1+ in the "Distortion" category of the test (C&H 6/2021).

This small, easy-to-install 7.5 cm midrange speaker, featuring a neodymium magnet and a solid aluminum fixed-phase waveguide, boasts an exceptionally elegant design. Incredibly powerful, it covers a frequency range from 200 Hz to over 18 kHz. Its technical characteristics even allow it to function as a full-range speaker, without a tweeter. A real gem.
