Marine 226 is a 16.5cm (6.5″) marine speaker made of plastic, the frame and grille are made of plastic. This makes it suitable for humid environments in all types of vessels.
- IP54 class
- UV resistant
- The speaker has a polypropylene cone and rubber surround as well as a waterproof seal between the tweeter pole and the cone to protect the voice coil from water and moisture. – The tweeter is 16 mm with a high quality crossover. This gives a better sound than in ordinary marine coaxials.

The magnet system of the speakers can influence the needle of the magnetic compasses. Avoid mounting the speakers within 50-60 cm of the compass.
