Semi-Balanced Directional RCA Cable.
The Level 2 RCA cable employs a semi-balanced directional design for effective interference management. In this design, the signal conductors carry the audio signal while the shield is connected at one end only, acting as a drain wire. By controlling the induced noise flow and shunting it back to the source side ground, the cable prevents unwanted ground loops and blocks interference from reflecting back into the audio chain. This directional grounding method is especially effective for in-car audio systems, where stray noise, such as alternator whine, is common.

Twisted Pair Design:
Twisted-pair conductors, encased within a quad-shielding system, further enhance noise protection. The positive and negative conductors for each channel are twisted together, ensuring that any induced noise along the cable is picked up equally by both wires. When the differential input signal is processed by the amplifier, these noise signals cancel each other out, leaving only the pure audio signal. The quad-layer shielding provides an additional barrier against external electromagnetic fields, ensuring signal stability even when routed near power cables or electronic modules.
