Alpine Halo9 - 9-inch multimedia station, with DAB+ and Apple CarPlay / Android Auto compatibility.

The iLX-F905D is the second generation of Alpine's popular Halo product line. It features a huge 9-inch high-resolution (WXGA) touchscreen and is compatible with most vehicles with a 1DIN or 2DIN radio slot. The screen is housed in a slim housing that blends seamlessly into your dashboard. The display's height and angle can also be adjusted to achieve the best viewing position and ensure maximum driver comfort.

With this station, benefit from the compatibility with wireless Apple CarPlay And Wired Android Auto but also DAB+ digital radio, USB and Hi-Res Audio video playback, hands-free kit function, Bluetooth function and much more.

9-inch WXGA HD display

With its 9-inch WXGA touchscreen, the Alpine Halo 9 offers a 1280 x 720p resolution of over 2.7 million pixels, making your dashboard icons, menus and visual content clear and vibrant. The screen is mounted on an adjustable bracket connected to a single-DIN chassis designed to fit most 1DIN or 2DIN dashboard openings.

Wireless Apple CarPlay

The iLX-F905D is compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay, allowing iPhone users to make and receive calls, read and write text messages, listen to music, and get information while staying focused on the road. To access Apple CarPlay, simply use the touchscreen or the microphone button to activate Siri voice control. Thanks to the Wi-Fi connection, you can leave your iPhone in your pocket and don't need to constantly plug it in (except for charging).

2 USB ports

Although the Alpine Halo 9 doesn't have a built-in CD/DVD drive, you can still enjoy plenty of entertainment options. The two USB ports on the back of the device allow you to connect a mobile device for charging, while the other USB port can be used to connect a flash drive or hard drive and access audio and video files.

Enjoy excellent sound quality

This product has excellent tools to perfectly tune your Alpine Halo 9 and its associated amplifier/speaker system: a 56-band parametric EQ in advanced mode, a 2-way digital X-over, a 6-channel digital time correction and several sound adjustment options Bass Engine SQ and MediaXpander. But we didn't stop there: The Alpine Halo 9 is Hi-Res Audio certified and can decrypt and play Hi-Res Audio files up to 96kHz / 1.536 kbps from USB sources in uncompressed formats such as FLAC, WAV and APE.

Connections to the vehicle data network

If your car is equipped with factory parking sensors, you can continue to use them with your iLX-F905D. Alpine offers many compatible interfaces to connect your Halo 9 to your vehicle's system. This allows compatibility with your vehicle's steering wheel control buttons, climate control settings display, and parking sensor display.

Driver assistance cameras

A rearview camera is a great way to make reversing safer. When you shift into reverse, the camera image automatically displays, and adjustable distance guides appear on your screen to help you park and park your car safely. Alpine offers a wide variety of front and rear cameras, including multi-view cameras with selectable viewing angles. And if your car allows it, you can even view both the camera screen and the parking sensor screen simultaneously.

The KIT-HALO-G7 installation kit allows you to perfectly integrate an Alpine Halo 1DIN system with 9-inch screen ( INE-F904D , INE-F904DC , iLX-F905D ) or 11-inch ( iLX-F115D ) in a Golf 7 (model year 08/2013 – 02/2017).

The KIT-HALO-G7 includes a CAN to UART interface with support for steering wheel control buttons (latest data protocol including support for SIRI and of OK Google). It also supports the small display in the instrument cluster (MFD), as well as the visual parking display (PDC) and the air conditioning/heating display (HVAC). You get easy analog signal output from the CAN bus for ignition, parking brake, speed signal and reverse signal.

You can even keep the vehicle settings function and adjust all car settings from your Alpine unit. The wiring harness uses Power-Quadlock connectors for a plug-and-play installation simple and is entirely compatible with THE microphone hands-free original of the vehicle as well as the rear view camera . The kit also includes a socket USB / AUX , as well as an antenna adapter with phantom power.

Noticed :

• FOR VEHICLES WITH ORIGINAL eCALL: The interface is not compatible with the emergency call function. An additional CAN bus interface is required to maintain the eCall function when replacing the OEM car radio. Please consult your dealer.
• Please note that vehicle menus may be lost (e.g., traffic sign recognition, etc.). Some other functions or settings are retained but may be controlled differently.
• Excludes Golf Sportsvan, e-Golf, GTE and cars with Active Info Display (AID). Not compatible with VW Golf VII Facelift.
• Not compatible with original OEM audio systems.
