The QUANTUM QE subwoofers impress with their very compact design. The QE622 subwoofer is almost delicate, but with its die-cast aluminum basket, the dual magnet driver with 2 x 40 oz and the sewn-in pearl, it signals: "Be careful, it can get very loud!" The slightly larger subs have a powerful dual magnet with 2 x 63 oz and, just like the QE622, a pole core drilling and also a ventilated T-plate for optimal cooling. The QE622 has a large 2 "(50 mm) voice coil with a rated power of 250 Watts and the QE822 as well as the brand new QE1022 carry a 2.5" (64 mm) voice coil with a rated power of 400 and 600 Watts RMS. Extremely long voice coils with 30 or 36 mm winding height allow a linear travel of +/- 10 mm. Both woofers have a dual voice coil of 2 + 2 Ohm each. This can be used to configure impedances of 1 x 4 Ohm or even 1 x 1 Ohm.
