The three-way audio system includes an AP 1 tweeter, an AP 4 midrange-woofer, and an AP 6.5 woofer. The APK 163 system deserves special attention: Audison engineers have developed a passive crossover dedicated to each speaker, simplifying the replacement of original speakers and avoiding the routing of additional cables in the door, which could void the vehicle's warranty. To facilitate installation in original locations, the woofers are equipped with dual-contact (positive and negative) high-current terminals for great flexibility and quick connection.
