System One SC-155B is the sound-matching center channel speaker for the SF168B floor or SB15B stand. The model replaces their popular 388 Series center, and has a fresher design and a more vibrant and detailed sound. With two 5.25" elements and 1" tweeters in a horizontal D´Appolito configuration, you get a wide frequency range, extending down to 60 Hz. The center channel is the most important in any cinema setup, so it is important to be able to emphasize the tone of dialogue and instruments when a BluRay concert is on the agenda.

After many years, the popular 388 series of the Swedish brand has received worthy loyalists. The new models were launched on the market at the beginning of 2020. The new decade has taken a new beginning, one might say.
The development work took place in Sweden, but thanks to efficient production in a factory in Asia with few middlemen, System One offers something completely extra - at a price rarely seen!

With a new and fresher design, you are ready to enter the market in a big way. Take the SF168B high floorstanding speaker from the series for example. This large 3-way construction offers both amazing sound resolution, while the drivers can move large amounts of air. The design means they blend easily into the home, with a lacquered front panel and slightly recessed elements.
The sides are slightly arched. A detail that contributes to its elegant design language, while reducing diffraction issues. A black fabric front grille covers the entire front seam of the speaker, so that children with clumsy fingers are not tempted to touch the speaker elements.

The new 100 series includes three models. The SF168B floorstanding speakers, the SC155B center speaker and the SB15B tripod/surround speakers. They deliberately tried to keep the impedance even at 4 Ohm, in order to be able to extract more power from the amplifier. An important ingredient is of course to have a strong one, to bring both purity and dynamism to the reproduction.
The intermediate register and the base elements are built around cardboard cones, which have an excellent relationship between lightness, rigidity and internal damping properties. With a dissolved treble built in a material called Cortina, you get a whole in the reproduction that will amaze many, given the extremely modest price of the models. The SF168B floorstanding speaker actually has double treble drivers, to be able to match the larger elements in resolution and at the same time provide a wide diffusion pattern.
The cabinet is constructed from MDF for better resonance attenuation.
