Description
The DD AUDIO 715g-D2 is a 15-inch subwoofer designed to produce deep, powerful, and physical bass. This new generation 700 "G" significantly improves the motor of the Power Tuned series with a longer coil, a thickened top plate, a deeper gap, and a reinforced magnetic assembly.
The 3-inch high-temperature voice coil benefits from improved cooling and greater excursion. It moves more air with each cycle while maintaining precise control when the subwoofer is pushed hard. The 280 oz triple stacked magnet motor provides the necessary force to keep the coil in the gap throughout its excursion.
The 715g-D2 incorporates the solutions that have made DD AUDIO Power Tuned subwoofers famous: a double-stage aluminum heatsink, a free-flowing cooling system, a high double-stitched surround, a fiberglass-loaded non-pressed cone, and dual-layer spiders.
