Description

The DD AUDIO 608f-D4 is an 8-inch subwoofer designed to deliver powerful and controlled bass in a high-performance daily installation. The 600f series combines remarkable power handling, robust design, and a compact size, making it suitable for enthusiasts who want to effectively enhance their bass.

Its 2.5-inch voice coil, made in the USA, handles up to 1,000 W RMS and 3,000 W peak. The "F" version improves heat transfer with a double-stage aluminum heat sink and a free-flow cooling system that effectively dissipates heat when the subwoofer is pushed.

The reinforced thickness of the top plate allows for longer voice coil winding and increases the amount of wire in the magnetic gap. This dissipates heat more effectively, while the motor maintains consistent electrical efficiency over time. The taller surrounds, double-stitched to an unpressed, fiberglass-loaded cone, accommodate increased excursion and Xmax.
