The completely redesigned Redline 600 subwoofers offer significantly improved performance compared to their predecessors. The new chassis and suspension design lowers the resonant frequency (Fs) while increasing excursion, for deeper and more dynamic bass.

The voice coils have also been improved: better thermal resistance, reduced inductance, and higher efficiency. This results in a more balanced sound, higher output level with the same amplifier, and enhanced overall efficiency.

Aesthetically, the traditional double red stitching of the DD Redline models has been replaced by a red strip – the “redline” – located between the cone and the thermoformed multilayer upper surround. The dust cap features a reflective metallic foil logo, while the cones and dust caps have a matte black finish. The chassis, meanwhile, features an embossed or molded DD logo.

The new versions retain the brand's iconic technical features: triple voice coil ventilation, braided wires integrated into the triple lower suspension, laminated lower suspensions, and elongated pole pieces. The cone, made of a blend of fiberglass and paper with a moisture-resistant coating, remains light, strong, and perfectly suited for the automotive environment.
