The MTX RTX654 midrange is a 16.5cm (6.5”) high-efficiency speaker. With little power, it reproduces a lot of sound. It supports 125W RMS with an efficiency of more than 97dB. It is intended for SQL type installations and open door PA systems. The sound is very powerful and very "Live". It shines with a striking realism, its softness and its exceptional musicality. Although very effective, it is never brutal or aggressive.
Its large 38mm coil, its warhead to combat standing waves, its extra large magnetic structure (Ø113mm), its pleated fabric suspension and its pressed paper membrane are all assets which contribute to the sound quality and performance of the transducer.
Please note that the RTX654 is sold individually. Therefore, two RTX654s are required for right-left stereo. Two MTX RTX2BTs or RTX4BTs tweeters are also required for the treble.
