The ZEUS series has been synonymous with power and excellent sound in the HiFonics range for many years. For the first time, in addition to component systems and coaxial cables, individual components such as midrange and bass drivers made of high-quality cast aluminum are now available, enabling 3-way combinations. The woofer of the compo set (available separately as ZX6.2W) comes with a cast aluminum basket and an aluminum phase plug. The sandwich membrane is made of a triple glass fiber composite material, which is particularly light but nevertheless particularly stable. The frequency range is extremely linear and requires virtually no correction via "crossover tricks". The powerful magnetic drive with a weight of 14 ounces, which drives a very large 30.5 mm voice coil, provides plenty of power. In total, a mechanical travel of up to +/- 11 mm is possible. The 25 mm ZX6.2T textile neodymium tweeter with coupling volume (resonance frequency 700 Hz), also available separately, covers a particularly wide frequency range very linearly up to well above 24 kHz.

The highlight of the 2-way component set, however, is that it is already prepared for 3-way operation: You can also connect the optional 7.5 cm ZXM3 midrange driver to the ZXO-2 crossover without much effort: Simply use the jumper switch. 3-way in the crossover, connect the midrange driver to the bandpass crossover; complete. The midrange driver also shines with excellent components such as a cast aluminum basket, an aluminum cone, a large 25 mm voice coil as well as an additional ventilated centering spider on the rear and a powerful neodymium drive.
