DLS’s new original anti-vibration PENTA basket is a perfect example of this. When a speaker’s magnetic motor can operate unaffected by external vibrations, the sound becomes tighter and clearer. In the DLS PENTA basket, the robust steel basket is reinforced with precisely pressed structures on the sides of each pillar, creating a very rigid assembly plane for the magnet. To further cancel out resonant vibrations, the asymmetrical five-pillar shape – rather than the usual four – also plays an important role in preventing standing waves from the mechanical structure.

The RC6.2Q features an original DLS design, anti-vibration PENTA basket and printed DLS logos. The large magnet, rigid aluminum cone woofer features a special rubber dust cap that improves mid/high frequency reproduction and the 28mm silk dome, combined with a high-quality component crossover, gives you all the bass power, clarity and warmth that define DLS speakers.
