The new 2024 series of Gs Audio Silver 6500 subwoofers, available in 10"/25cm - 12"/30cm - 15"/38cm - 18"/46cm, is the evolution of the previous Silver 5000.

Handcrafted in our Italian headquarters, the subwoofers are also customizable upon request.

In the new edition, the main transformation has been made to the magnet, spider, and voice coil, which together have allowed for a power handling of 3250WRMS in D1 and D2 Ohm impedance versions.

The massive magnetic assembly now features two 220 mm ferrite rings and UFO-shaped pole plates. This unique design significantly improves power handling, ventilation, and cooling of the voice coil, while also creating a modern and unique aesthetic!

The new 83 mm, 4-layer voice coil features copper-clad aluminum winding for improved heat dissipation. It is mounted on a high-temperature aluminum former.

Our spiders, made of 100% double-layer red Nomex in our Italian headquarters, offer a perfect balance of lightness, rigidity, and efficiency. In addition, their sewn coating prevents annoying noises and vibrations, even during the longest excursions.

All 4 versions (10/12/15/18) feature a new pressed cellulose cone and an ESP foam surround with reinforcing ribs. These features keep the voice coil perfectly centered in the magnetic flux.

For the finishing touch, we have integrated a carbon dust cap that not only reinforces the cone but also acts as a heat sink. Thanks to its thermal conductivity properties, carbon absorbs heat from the voice coil, facilitating its dispersion, even towards the front of the cone.
