The GS Audio / GS Alternators 250A alternator is designed to provide superior electrical power to Peugeot 2.0L and 2.2L Diesel engines. Handcrafted and custom-modified, it offers stable and reliable charging, even under high electrical demand (audio, accessories, etc.).

ATTENTION – Mandatory verification

As this is a custom product, it cannot be returned or exchanged if you do not provide us with the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) to confirm compatibility. Please contact us before purchasing to ensure proper fitment.

Mechanical Compatibility

Alternator is mechanically compatible with Peugeot 2.0L HDI and 2.2L HDI (Diesel) engines. No bracket or pin modification is needed in most cases, but it may be useful to check the vehicle's original belt and/or pulley.

Regulators Included

  • Internal automatic regulator for current output
  • External regulator with voltmeter to adjust charging voltage between 14.2V and 15.2V
  • Specific installation manual included

Compatible Batteries

AGM, Lead-Acid, Gel, LiFePO4, and LTO (Lithium Titanate) are supported.

Current Provided

  • 250A (depending on electrical consumption): ~1600–2000 rpm engine → ~6000 rpm alternator
  • 215A (depending on electrical consumption): ~800–900 rpm engine → ~3000 rpm alternator

End-of-Charge Voltage Adjustment

  • 14.3V: LiFePO4 batteries without BMS
  • 14.6V: LiFePO4 batteries with BMS
  • 14.7V: AGM / Lead-Acid / Gel batteries
  • 14.9–15.2V: LTO batteries
  • >15V: only if the electrical installation is separate

Important Precautions

  • Most vehicles do not tolerate voltages above 15V without specific adaptations.
  • Installation is recommended to be carried out by a qualified technician or at an authorized center.
  • GS Audio cannot be held responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation or wiring.
