VAG Alternator 1.2L to 2.7L 250A – GS Audio with Regulators

High-performance alternator for VAG petrol and diesel engines, adjustable voltage 14.2–15.2V

The GS Audio 250A alternator is designed to provide optimal power for your Audi vehicles equipped with 1.2L to 2.7L engines, petrol or diesel. It is mechanically compatible with the following engines:

  • 1.2L, 1.4L
  • 1.6L TDI / 1.6L FSI
  • 1.8L TFSI
  • 1.9L TDI
  • 2.0L TDI / 2.0L TFSI
  • 2.5L TDI / 2.5L
  • 2.7L TDI

Mechanical compatibility means that no additional brackets or pins are required. For some vehicles, it may be necessary to replace the belt and/or pulley with the original ones.

Compatibility check

ATTENTION: Please contact us with the VIN (registration number) to be absolutely sure of the fitment. As this is a custom-made product, it cannot be repaired or exchanged.

  • Internal automatic regulator for output current
  • External regulator with voltmeter to adjust charging voltage between 14.2V and 15.2V
  • Specific installation manual included

  • 250A (~1600/2000 rpm engine → ~6000 rpm alternator)

Charge termination voltage adjustment

  • 14.3V: LiFePO4 without BMS
  • 14.6V: LiFePO4 with BMS
  • 14.7V: AGM / Lead-acid / Gel
  • 14.9–15.2V: LTO
  • >15V: only with separate electrical system

Important precautions

  • Do not exceed 15V on most vehicles without disconnecting certain circuits.
  • Installation recommended by a qualified technician or in an approved service center.
  • GS Audio disclaims all responsibility in case of incorrect installation or battery overload.
