AUDISON AVUNO Amplifier
Description
Description
AUDISON: AV UNO AV Uno combines the positive points, in terms of audio quality and robustness, of traditional class AB amplifiers with the efficiency of class D amplifiers. AV Uno is a mono amplifier designed to drive a subwoofer but also suitable for high power Dual Mono systems AV Uno is an amplifier with an innovative circuit called POD (Power On Demand); it provides the final stage in class AB with dynamic power that is used to track the signal to be amplified in order to increase efficiency and reduce temperature. AMP (Amplifier Management Processor) constantly checks the system operating status and communicates with the user via 4 LEDs of different colors, located on the top panel; ART (Automatic Remote Turn On-Off) allows automatic switching on/off when a remote signal is not available from the source. Front-mounted fuse For visual inspection, the current fuse is mounted on the top panel and can be quickly and easily replaced. Heat Sink One-piece aluminum construction - large side screws secure the internal, highly conductive aluminum bars used for mounting the transistors; a solution that contributes to increased thermal capacity and reliability. Front Panel Adjustment All crossover levels are adjusted from the top of the amplifier for easy and precise settings. All crossover functions are easily configured for virtually any system design, being fully passable. Forced Air Flow Forced air flow improves cooling; taking fresh air from outside and directing it where it is needed most. Air is directed along the top of the amplifier chassis and hot air is exhausted through dedicated side vents. Dual Power Supply Transformers The power supply stage features dual multiple winding transformers to increase efficiency and power delivery under all difficult load conditions. Power Supply Section Regulated power supply with dual PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) control. Output power does not change with supply voltage variations; Amplifier performance remains unchanged even when the power is turned off. Amplifier Management Processor AMP is the microprocessor that constantly analyzes the voltage, current, output load and temperature to activate the protection circuits when necessary. Class A + AB + D Technology Continuing with Audison's revolutionary technology, the AV5.1k uses three different typologies A, AB and Class D in a single chassis: Class A for linearity and detail, Class AB for precision and high power, Class D for better energy efficiency. Airflow A fan is the heart of this circuit; its two-speed system is thermostatically controlled by the AMP; no more need for heat dissipation. SAF ensures maximum thermal management, with silent operation. Modular Construction The amplifier is a modular design, ensuring the power supply motherboard does not interfere with the audio signal, for noise-free amplification. The removable input/crossover section provides easy insertion of the AV bit IN digital module.
