The PDP-E802DSP is Alpine’s second generation of 8-channel digital DSP amplifier. This amazing all-in-one solution allows you to improve the sound of practically any vehicle thanks to its incredible versatility and connectivity options. Featuring 6 input channels (both at preamp and speaker level), as well as up to 8 fully configurable output channels, it allows for a very wide range of applications and flexibility. Tune your sound with a professional 240-band parametric equalizer, 8-channel digital time correction, as well as an 8-channel digital filter.
For system setup, use the Alpine PC software to connect wirelessly or via USB to the PDP-E802DSP. The software, which is very intuitive and easy to use, provides full control over all parameters and displays all data in a very beautiful graphical user interface. The free Alpine Remote Control app for PDP-E802DSP (available for Android and iPhone) allows you to control your amp/DSP anywhere and includes the most important functions, such as master volume, subwoofer level, source selection, preset recall and more. The PDP-E802DSP is the perfect solution especially for upgrades of original systems, where the factory radio cannot be replaced by an aftermarket solution to achieve better sound. The Alpine DSP amplifier simply adds to the existing original system, allowing you to build any audio system around your factory system.
This versatile DSP amplifier features many improvements for easier installation and enhanced sound quality. On the hardware side, the new input circuit improves noise suppression, while the new Pre-Out allows for connecting an additional subwoofer amplifier if needed. We have improved the signal-to-noise ratio and included color-coded jumpers with clear labels to facilitate installation and setup for the installer. There are many other improvements, such as improved Wi-Fi stability, a more detailed RUX-KNOB2 tuning behavior, as well as automatic adjustment of the supply voltage according to load and volume. A new automatic impedance test protects your equipment from bad connections
Greater Versatility and Flexibility
The PDP-E802DSP is extremely versatile and flexible - it can be added to virtually any original or aftermarket vehicle to create the audio system you need. Connect the DSP amp to your original system via the 6-speaker inputs with sensing activation, or use the 6-channel preamp inputs (RCA). There is also an optical input (max 24bit / 96kHz) for connecting additional sources.
Wireless System Control
Download the Alpine Remote Control app for your iPhone or Android smartphone to control all key functions, select input sources, adjust master system volume and subwoofer level, select sound presets, etc. - there's even a day/night mode. The app is free to download from the Google Store or the Apple Store.
Start-Stop Compatibility
The PDP-E802DSP will remain fully operational if your car is running in stop/start mode, meaning no system will inadvertently shut down when you stop at an intersection or in a stop-and-go situation.
Expert Sound Tuning with Your PC
Download the Alpine Sound Lab software for PDP-E802DSP from the Support Page and install it on your PC (compatible with Windows 10). Connect your PC via USB cable or wirelessly via WiFi to the Alpine PDP-E802DSP to start tuning your audio system.
