Sound Auto Concept's extreme car audio project
A story that began in 2016
In 2016, we decided to launch the Peugeot 807 project to replace our old Seat Toledo, which was equipped with six Ground Zero subwoofers. This Seat allowed us to discover the world of car audio demonstrations, participate in numerous gatherings, and develop our experience in designing show cars. We quickly wanted to go further by creating a more imposing vehicle, capable of integrating a much more ambitious setup.
After several evolutions between 2016 and 2019, the project was put on hold so we could focus on the development of Sound Auto Concept. In early 2025, we decided to completely overhaul the vehicle with a single goal: to build a unique show car in France, deliberately spectacular and intended for outdoor demonstrations.

The 18 Ground Zero Subwoofers
The heart of the project lies in 18 Ground Zero GZNW30SPL-D1 subwoofers installed in a symmetrical 4th Order BP enclosure. This type of enclosure was chosen to achieve very high sound pressure while maintaining excellent musicality. This choice is the result of numerous tests carried out since the vehicle's first versions.

The 24-inch woofers
The third evolution introduces four custom-developed 24-inch woofers. Each speaker handles 2,800 W AES and was designed to deliver powerful bass during outdoor demonstrations.
Midranges and compression drivers
The doors feature 4 Ground Zero GZCM10-4PPX and 3 Ground Zero GZCT5000SPL-B per side. At the rear, twenty GZCM10-4PPX are combined with several compression drivers to achieve very high-efficiency sound projection in front of the vehicle.

In total, the system incorporates over 128,000 Watts RMS of amplification distributed across twenty SounDigital amplifiers to power each speaker family under optimal conditions.
DSP, power supply, and wiring
Signal processing is handled by an ESX QE812SP DSP combined with the RC-QE controller. Music is streamed from a computer with a touchscreen and transmitted via fiber optic to the DSP. The power supply relies on 20 LTO Lithium cells, two GS Audio 360 A alternators, and full Four Connect wiring.
A project with a purpose
We know that this Peugeot 807 will not appeal to everyone. Some will appreciate its spectacular side, others will find it excessive. This is a deliberate choice. We built it first and foremost to please ourselves, demonstrate our expertise, and share our passion for car audio. Whether it's liked or not, that suits us perfectly.
