System One HCS-26 is an incredibly affordable pair of floorstanding speakers, part of the new and improved generation of their HCS series. Like its predecessor, these sleek and discreet floorstanders feature dual 6.5" elements for a rich range with beautiful drive and body in the sound. On the rear is a bi-wire/bi-amp terminal, giving the ability to achieve exquisite sound with the right choice of cables and amplifiers. This gives you a good base to create both music and film sound with.

Swedish brand System One has continued to develop its popular and best-selling HCS speaker series, which was launched in early 2020, along with the more lavish 100 Series.
The development work took place in Sweden, but thanks to efficient production in a factory in Asia with few middlemen, System One offers something completely extra - at a price rarely seen!

The HCS series has inherited the technology of its more expensive siblings. The material of the membrane of the elements is the same, with the new Cortina tweeter being above all the most developed component since the previous generation. This gives the new models the ability to reproduce more details in the reproduction, and this creates a larger and more lively soundscape in your home. The mid-range and base elements are built around cardboard cones, which have an excellent relationship between lightness, rigidity and internal damping properties.
Of course, the HCS series doesn't quite reach the same level as the more sumptuous 100 models, but the sound character is similar. Returning to the price segment, the magnetic systems of the elements are not as large and the cabinet walls are not as thick.

The new HCS series includes three models. The HCS-26B floorstanding speakers, the HCS-26CB center speaker and the HCS-26SB tripod/surround speakers. They deliberately tried to keep the impedance even at 4 Ohm, in order to be able to extract more power from the amplifier. An important ingredient is of course to have a strong one, to bring both purity and dynamism to the reproduction.
