When replacing factory-installed loudspeakers, inexpensive plastic adapter rings are usually used for the vehicle-specific installation openings. These often thin-walled adapters are not particularly stable and, due to a lack of mass, do not provide high-quality loudspeakers with the support and stability necessary to function properly. Another unpleasant side effect is the sound permeability and "vibration" of the plastic ring and the resulting loss of sound. Milled adapters made of MDF are better, but they can swell after a while because the MDF wood of the vehicle doors is sometimes exposed to high levels of humidity and cold. The MUSWAY adapter rings impress with their high tactile quality as soon as you unpack them, because the high weight of the solid aluminum mounting rings feels extremely pleasant and heavy in the hand. On the underside there is a foam ring glued all around, which ensures an optimal seal between the adapter ring and the vehicle sheet metal. Ingenious: Solid brass nuts have been incorporated into the aluminum adapter ring under the seal. These offer the supplied M4 threaded screws a perfect hold for the loudspeaker to be mounted. If you combine the MSR adapter rings with the MSB165 silicone sleeves , ideal "working conditions" are created for the loudspeakers. Nothing stands in the way of the audiophile's sound enjoyment.

Thanks to the use of high-quality aluminium, the MSR adapter rings are also well protected against corrosion and, thanks to their robust construction, retain their shape even in wet and cold conditions and thus also offer good protection for the built-in speakers.
