The new technology is easy to explain: the DBX208BPA active loudspeaker is designed as a bandpass system in which the sound pressure exits through a large port. The special feature of these models is the internal bass channel, which directs the sound either forward or backward. Depending on the application, the rear port cover, designed as a robust aluminum plate, can also be screwed onto the front opening. This alternative installation activates the rear duct opening and allows the full sound pressure to be channeled directly into the passenger compartment through the ski bag opening. Both speakers can develop their full potential, especially in convertibles or hatchbacks. Simply brilliant!

The active box is particularly impressive in convertibles with a small trunk, as no additional space is required. The integrated POWER4 module also offers all the modern features required in many vehicles today. In addition to start/stop, the variable EPS ® Pro system is also on board to thwart error diagnosis in various vehicles. With more than 400 watts RMS and excellent efficiency, the Class D amplifier optimally drives the woofers. The bass level can also be easily controlled from the driver's seat using the level remote control.
