5 CHANNEL MARINE AMPLIFIER
The HCP 5MD marine amplifier features a compact design ready to take on the open water environment , delivering tons of clean power. The heat sink has been manufactured from extruded aluminum , a material unmatched for lightness, robustness and heat dissipation. To keep the size to a minimum, the power transistors are placed between the PCB and the top of the heat sink where the heat is collected. The accumulated heat is then directed to the special dissipation “wings” located along the side of the amplifier.
Both the Pre-In and Speaker-In inputs feature a special balanced circuit , ensuring high rejection against electromagnetic interference for noise-free results. The crossover section of the HCP M amplifiers ensures extreme flexibility: fully adjustable low-pass and high -pass filters with 12 dB/oct. and 24 dB/oct. slopes depending on the amplifier model; Bass Boost is also available to enhance low frequencies.
Specifically, HCP 5MD is suitable for a five-channel system with subwoofer, a three-channel front + sub system using the integrated front and rear crossovers which also include a bass boost circuit and a subsonic filter.
