Generator of
ATTG sounds has a built-in test tone generator that makes testing your audio system easy! Simply connect the ATTG's RCA connector to an output stage or amplifier to hear what frequencies are being reproduced in the system. The tone is adjustable between 13 and 10,000 Hz, as is the output voltage which can be adjusted between 0 and 8 V.
Test your RCA cables
Need to see if your RCA cable is working properly? Connect the cable connectors to the ATTG and when the red LED lights up and a beep sounds, the cable is working properly. If your cable is broken, the instrument is silent and the LED remains off.
Test the speaker phase
If one of your speakers is out of phase, it could mean that the sound is getting worse. Make sure you connect correctly by connecting the red and black alligator clips to the speaker terminals. Then press the "Speaker Test" button to see which connection is plus and minus. If the speaker moves outward, the positive terminal has been found on the red alligator connection.
