HERTZ AUDIO: MPK 1650.3

The MPK 1650.3 audio speaker system is the two-way, two-way system of the Mille PRO line.
The system uses the 28 mm diameter MP 28.3 tweeter inheriting all the technological features
of the Mille Legend ML28.3.
Tetolon's dome geometry maximizes typical off-axis listening dispersion.
Rear acoustic chamber with damping material helps extend response
at lower frequencies reaching a resonance frequency of only 900 Hz.
In this way the crossover point between the tweeter and the woofer can be lowered,
which improves the sound image in the car dashboard.
The massive Neodymium motor minimizes non-linearity in handling music program with highly dynamic transients.
The CCAW (Copper Clad Aluminum Wire) telephone coil guarantees a particularly light and rigid assembly.
These technological elements interact with each other,
which translates to a high frequency extension of 28 kHz,
a record for a tweeter with a 28 mm coil.
A sleek and compact angled tweeter mount is included with the system:
This allows easy installation on both the A-pillars and the car dashboard.
The correct angle of the tweeter improves the stereo image, essential for engaging listening.

The electroacoustic parameters of the MP 165P.3 have been forged to give it the pure and solid sound
of an authentic mid-bass, designed for high dynamic systems.
The voice coil with a generous height of 14 mm,
has a nominal impedance of 3 O in addition to increased power handling.
These features provide the ability to fully exploit the power of Hertz HCP amplifiers.

The 95mm diameter ferrite magnet allows a linear voice coil excursion of +/- 4.5mm,
ensuring the greatest control at all times.
The borderless free surround moves a greater amount of air,
and the V-cone® profile improves the offax dispersion, the real state of car listening.
The sophisticated aluminum alloy basket neutralizes unwanted vibrations.

The MPCX 165.3 crossover creates the optimal tonal balance between the MP 28.3 woofer and the MP 165P.3 speaker.
It has bimetallic capacitors with polyester dielectric,
for maximum acoustic transparency and air coil inductors integrated on pure copper wire
with a diameter of 1 mm to eliminate saturation.
It also mounts wire-wound resistors with low parasitic inductance.
Two-position Hi-Contour control allows for fine-tuning of frequency response
of the system by optimizing the different positions of the speakers.
Above all, listeners can achieve their preferred sound with the three-position control for
the tweeter emission level with 2 dB steps (+2/0 / -2dB) of attenuation.
