The design of the MW-SM5.0 is simple, but extremely effective in terms of insulation and damping. Essentially, a 2 mm thick self-adhesive aluminium butyric is used here, which prevents metal or plastic parts from swinging. A thin aluminium foil provides the necessary stability. In addition, above the aluminium layer there is a 3 mm thick foam layer that dampens unwanted sound waves. In this way, the rear sound is effectively attenuated and not reflected, which means that the sound waves that would otherwise occur do not "interfere" with the loudspeaker in its work.
